it's been a while

it's definitely been a while. and in all honesty, not much has changed. it seems my will to look to other things to do while doing anything useful has only increased (i have furthered my addiction to the machine i sit at now) there have, however, been some optimistic moments as of late in my academic career. And because of this, school hasn't completely taken the life out of me. Skiing is a distraction now, because of the lack of snow depleting my stoke level, my mind drifts to useless things, 'Is my tall tee sticking out', 'are these skis to soft?', all in all these things aren't worth the effort to change. i like to ski park, but to get my energy going towards that i need a little something called pow. And at the moment the PNW is lacking a bit of it. I'm staying in whistler with some good friends, however i can't help but feel like i've wasted an opportunity when we leave the village before 9, and go home to sleep. Once in a while, i don't mind wandering aimlessly and calling people for stuff to do. While we were in the village we saw gran torino- go see it- the shit's good. Clint east wood stomps the shit out of his role, and the cast is very well chosen. To me it's rare to see a movie where i'm into it because someone is badass, but can feel the connection, and feel sorrow in the lower times of the movie. I have no clue if that makes any sense. See it. It's also pretty damn funny.

Hokusai is one of my faves.
Good pick.
